1. Checking the integrity of the product before use: a detector will light up next to the voltage channel and a buzzing sound will be heard. If the light and sound are weak, replace the batteries. 2. Replacing Batteries - See illustration in diagram below. 3. Keep the detector away from voltage sources above 1000 VAC.
